What is Interjection?

An interjection is a word that is different and independent in a phrase or sentence. It is separated by an exclamatory mark. Interjection plays a very important role in writing English because it is an expression that is not dependent on others' words. In English Grammar we use interjections to express our sudden feelings like surprise, fear, happiness, sadness, danger, love, emotion, and joy.
