 However, now media has emerged as the fourth pillar of any state due to its importance in the modern world. A free and independent media is the main core for social, economic, cultural, and religious harmony and a strong state. The constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan media has every kind of freedom to cover what is happening around the state or outside the state. 

Media has positive and negative impacts on Social, Economic, Political, religious, educational, and medical spheres. The positive impact of social media is that it is a source of entertainment.  Movies, dramas, serials, and sports all are found on social media. It is the fastest source of access to the latest information while being online we are connected with the whole world. The world is becoming a global village. Social media is connecting different districts and provinces giving rise to more peace and harmony it makes us aware of fundamental rights.

 The positive political impact is that the political parties can showcase their candidates easily whether it is through print or electronic media that the people of a state can see which political party is doing additional work or beneficial work for their own. It has proven to be a champion of democracy due to social media Pakistan got freedom from dictatorship it is also very helpful during the election camping the media gives 24/7 coverage of 100 polling stations and also encourages people to cast a vote. 

The positive economic impact is that it has become a symbol of success for any film, private and public company advertisements. It plays a vital role in shaping the minds of consumers with a single click we can have access to products with different varieties and tags. The consumer doesn't need to visit any shop or person they can purchase it while being at their home goods are sold purchased returned and exchanged through an online format. 

The positive religious impact is that all and sundry can have easy and equal access to religious sites and channels like Qtv, Madni channel, and Saudia TV. Now one can read and learn the Quran by heart easily it is also a big source of interfaith harmony it is proving to be an eradicator of the clash of Civilization, terrorism, and extremism that can be rooted out with the help of media. 

The positive educational impact is that social media is helping to aware people of the importance of education. It is now used vastly in the field of education. Proper courses and subjects are introduced to understand it.  During COVID-19 our all education system relied on it. And now still, there are a lot of things that rely on it.  It helps students to remain connected with education. 

 Media has created an important impact in the health sector media provides us help, remedies, and tips that are very helpful for us we can easily find any remedy or any kind of treatment or medicine when we need help like diet charts, health charts, and exercise plan are available on it. The best panel of doctors physicians surgeons and pharmacies are found there easily. 

Pharmaceutical companies advertise their newly announced medicines that cure diseases like TB, hepatitis A, B, C, etc.  Media also act as a watchdog In the working and performance of various departments. The above-mentioned positive aspects of media also have some negative impacts.

 The first negative impact is social impact which has paved the way for the isolation of individuals who stick to their televisions, laptops,  cell phones, tablets or LEDs in their bedrooms, houses or even in public places. They don't care about others which becomes the cause of waste of time sometimes.

 We get unauthentic information that misleads us like, Media have given rise to the practice of Cybercrimes, blackmailing, yellow journalism, and sensationalism have also created a pathetic situation. Our good culture is polluted with it The young youth is falling prey to other countries' cultures their minds are becoming polluted they are affected by other countries and are forgetting their own culture and norms. 

Another negative impact is that politics like social media is used as a tool for victimization the tribe is in a better position for the weapon of media similarly the rival leaves no stone and turns in making a mountain out of a molehill.  They just spread false rumors about each other and create misconceptions. 

The negative economic impact is substandard goods product and services are sort of like hot cake it is said a good wine needs a number of newly launched products that are advertised in such a unique way that consumers purchase it instantly they are unaware that the product they are using is harmful because they are presented in such a way that everyone thinks that it is the best thing in a market.

Another negative impact is the religious impact that gives rise to terrorism and extremism it has been found mostly organizations are under the grab service of humanity or with different kinds of hashtags prop up their own agendas of hater terrorism and extremism besides our religious mindset has been affected by a lot of unwanted improvements in our religion have affected the spirited of teaching of our religion Islam nowadays the Israel and Palestine issue is the biggest example of that because the West is showing the Palestine's are not victim while the Israelis are the ones who are the greatest power and Palestine belongs to them another example is the Iran and Lebanon bombing which is showing these countries terrorist while those who are bombing on them are presented as a good positive state.

So if you really want to see these issues solved. We have to take solid steps like covering all the areas that are affecting us in a negative way we have to understand that we can not make our economy and political educational condition better if we don't stop the interference of social media in every safer of life as we know that social media is engulfing us now so we have to understand that we should only use it 40 positive purposes otherwise we can not grow economically socially religiously there are some suggestions which need to be focused first of all there should be an agency who should keep and I'll check on the activities happening on social media no doubt various efforts has been done but there should be more to be done secondly each and every individual should stop themselves from spreading wrong rumors and misleading people. Now it is people just want to go viral and they post things randomly without knowing how it will affect other people s we can say that no doubt social media has a lot of positive impacts but still it has a lot of cones and if we don't stop it then the things will be more damaging and alarming.
